Renewal, cancellation, refunds
Six questions the bill keeper asks first, answered in plain words: when Household renews, how you cancel, the refund window, photo capture, who sees the calendar, and what no fees means.
Monthly renews on the same date each month at $5, and annual renews once a year at $40, always at the same price you signed up at. Before an annual renewal you get a text and an email 7 days ahead, and a receipt follows every charge. If the price ever changes, you'll have 30 days notice first.
Cancel under Plan in the app in two taps, or email support@addabill.com and we'll do it. There's no cancellation fee, and the plan runs to the end of the period you've paid for. After that the household moves to the Free plan and every bill you added stays where it is; nothing is deleted. Free holds up to 5 bills at one time for one person, so the Household extras (photo capture, the shared calendar, the yearly summary) are the parts that stop.
Yes. If you buy the annual plan and change your mind within 14 days, email support@addabill.com and you'll get a full refund. After 14 days the plan runs its year, and you can still cancel at any point so it doesn't renew.
On Household, point the camera at a paper bill or pick a screenshot of one, and Addabill reads the amount and the due date off it. You see what it read before the bill lands, and you can change anything it got wrong. There's no limit on how many bills you add this way.
On Household you can add up to four other people, each with their own login, and the calendar shows who handles each bill. Each person gets their reminder texts at their own number, after agreeing to texts themselves. Everyone sees the same month, so nobody has to ask what's due.
It means the plan price is the only money you ever pay Addabill, and on Free that's nothing. When you tap through to a biller's own payment page, you're dealing with them directly; we're not part of that transaction and add nothing to it. If a biller charges its own fee for paying by card, that's between you and them, exactly as it was before.
